|Salta The Cathedral Basilica (Catedral Basilica de Salta) and Shrine of Lord and Lady of the Miracle is a cathedral in Salta , Argentina dating from the second half of the nineteenth century and built from destruction by an earthquake the previous building. In 1856 , due to the earthquake that destroyed the old building, raised funds for reconstruction. Work began in 1858 , at the request of Bishop Joseph Eusebio Colombres.
